Beautiful follows a teenage Carole King, from writing songs for other artists, to becoming a world sensation herself with her Tapestry album in 1971, which includes You got a Friend, I Feel the Earth Move, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Beautiful.

Originally from St. John’s, Sarah is fresh off performing in Beautiful at Calgary’s Stage West. Nominated for two Dora Awards and a Broadway World Toronto award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, Sarah is delighted to be home playing Carole King.

BRAD HODDER as Barry Mann
Also from St. John’s, Brad is a veteran of the Stratford Festival and recently appeared on Murdoch Mysteries. In 2023, Brad completed a record-breaking Toronto run of Mirvish Productions’ Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, as Draco Malfoy.

JUSTIN NURSE as Gerry Goffin
A highly recognizable NL-based performer, Justin has appeared extensively with TaDa! Events. Justin has also featured on Son of a Critch, Hudson & Rex, and Hallmark’s My Christmas Guide and Merry Mystery Christmas.

The stage will be rocking with a stunning cast of singers, musicians and dancers, performing the mega hits King wrote for The Drifters, The Righteous Brothers, The Shirelles, and Little Eva – songs like Locomotion, You’ve Lost that Lovin Feelin, Chains, and We Gotta get out of this Place.
