Bill Brennan (Conductor / Piano) More than 35 years of relentless experience have garnered Bill Brennan a solid reputation as a player, composer and arranger of contemporary classical, jazz, folk and world music. Always exploring, always open to new ideas, Brennan’s talents resist classification. Geoff Chapman of the Toronto Star wrote: “Brennan … is a central figure in this country’s music.” Bill has been musical director for TaDa! Events’ productions for the last 10 years. He can be heard on some 100 albums to date. He has been involved with some of the best-known organizations in Canadian culture including the Canadian Opera Company, and has been musical director for CBC’s beloved Vinyl Café. Bill was named the ArtsNL’s Artist of the Year for 2006. He is Professor of Instrumental Conducting at Memorial University.
