Jonathan Myers

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Myers has called Newfoundland and Labrador home since a young age upon moving there with his family to reconnect with Newfoundland and Mi’kmaq family roots and ties on the Port au Port Peninsula. Learning about the provinces indigenous, cultural, geological and natural history, he became a journalist, documenter and photographer to highlight seldom seen important features of the province where he eventually got his work publicized in international media outlets such as the BBC.

With his work he’s collaborated with countless provincial organizations, groups and businesses which he soon found his importance in Community Development roles via post-secondary education. With a decade of demanding work experience, Myers opened his own marketing business (Mad Lad Marketing Inc.) in the province to help SME’s, organizations and communities highlight and promote their vision in ways not possible before due to economical constraints. Today, he works closely with rural municipalities to ensure economic growth while combating regional disparities as a springboard to promote a future for young Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

His favourite things in life are his family, nature, exercise, photography, and of course… his work with TaDa! Events… which he doesn’t call work. He calls it FUN! Enjoy the show, folks!
