Wendy Morrisey

About La Cage (The Birdcage):

Originally from Chicago Illinois and moved to Newfoundland with her family at age 9. Graduated from College of the North Atlantic Visual Arts program in Stephenville Newfoundland in 1996. And graduated from Laurentian University with majors in Visual Arts, Native Arts & Culture and Theatre in 1998.

Started in the Arts and theatre from 1988 winning Awards for best lead actress in the production Pen of My Aunt and best in costume design and best in set design . Art work has been featured in US magazines, newspapers and on NTV. Wendy has been teaching makeup, Art and Native Arts since 1998 in Ontario, Michigan and Newfoundland.

Wendy has been working with TaDa! Events doing Productions of Divas Do Christmas , Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent, We Will Rock You and now for makeup design with the amazing production La Cage Aux Folles
