Irma Gerd aka Jason Wells

Irma is weird, wild, and wonderful. She is ~the~ queen of the St John’s drag scene and prides herself in community building and putting together stellar shows. Irma has had a huge year so far that includes being featured on Season Two of CBC’s Canada’s a Drag, performing at The Rooms Provincial Gallery in a performance art series, winning the crown in Halifax at Atlantic Drag Star (judged by Drag Race winner Aquaria), and doing wigs and hair for Opera on the Avalon’s Phantom of the Opera. Irma is known for producing a quirky brand of show with her drag collective, the Phlegm Fatales, and has brought some larger names to the local drag stage such as Mary Walsh, Lady Bunny, and Hollow Eve.  Irma can be found most weekends downtown Walking on Broken Glass, Not Crying Out Loud, or stomping around wondering Where the Hell Her Phone is.
